The Spring 1996 NSF Trainers Workshop in Parallel Computing is a joint effort between CRPC (Center for Research on Parallel Computation) and RTCPP (Regional Training Center for Parallel Processing) hosted by the CTC (Cornell Theory Center). This is a part of CRPC's effort in Retooling the Supercomputing Community for Scalable Parallelism. "Retooling" is a national educational program to introduce the science and engineering community to the use of scalable parallel computer systems, as part of a larger collaborative effort under the NSF Metacenter Regional Alliance (MRA) Program, by training the supercomputer center staff trainers. (See the CRPC news release for more information.)
